ABSTRACT

Some 3-[N-Tos-or N-pht-aminoacyl] amino-6-chloropyridazines III-X and the corresponding 3-amino-6-bromopyridazines XIX-XXVI have been synthesized and screened for their antimicrobial activities. Hydrazinolysis of the N-phthaloyl derivatives in ethanol afforded the unprotected amino acid derivatives XI-XIV and XXVII-XXX. 3-[N-Tos- dipeptidyl] amino-6-chloropyridazines XV-XVIII and the corresponding dipeptides of 3-amino-6-bromopyridazine XXXI-XXXVI have been synthesized via the dicyclohexylcarbodiimide [DCC] method. Some of the synthesized compounds were found to possess significant antimicrobial activities towards different microorganisms

ABSTRACT

The synthesis and antimicrobial evaluation of different 5-[N-tosyl- or N-phthaloyl- or free aminoacyl or N-tosyltripeptidyl] amino-1,2,3- thiadiazoles and the corresponding derivatives of 5-amino-4-methyl-1,2,3-thiadiazoles [III-XXVI] were described
